It sounds like a book for pre-schoolers, right? This short book was written in 1998 by Dr. Spencer Johnson. I was only recently introduced to this great allegory on change. Now more than ever we can all take a look at our lives and see how we have adjusted to change in the past.
This year has brought changes in how families function, children learn, adults work and in what we value. Do you handle change by always looking for it? Do you know it is going to happen so you are watching for the signs? Do you wait for change to come and once it does ask who caused the change in your life? Do you move on quickly to adapt or find new opportunities? Do you mourn the change but then move on?
I highly recommend reading this story or listening to it on audible. Figure out how you handle change and decide if that is how you want to continue to handle change in the future.
What if change brings bigger things? What if you are challenged and become stronger and wiser through change?
Who will you become when accept change and move with it?
